This lovely tune by David Bobrowitz gives the listener a feeling of waking up on a sunlit spring day, with pleasant temperatures and perhaps a light breeze. As is typical of Springtime, towards the end of the piece, a sudden shower takes over the landscape. Here tremolos in the upper strings counter the low string melody, evocative of a pleasant steady rain.
A great way of teaching tremolo technique and sensitive expressive playing, this piece with bathe your players and audience in the golden light of beautiful music!
