Strings For Every Level

As many of our composers are also educators, we understand the nuance of writing music for strings at every level. We also understand the challenges that school music programs face and know that interesting new music improves students’ retention. Programming high quality string music helps reinvigorate both students and teachers. We provide the best string orchestra music and are here to help your orchestra thrive.

Continuing A Legacy

After 20 years of teaching, Sarah Siegler is channeling her passion for composing and educating in a new role of music publishing. She took ownership of the string orchestra division of Grand Mesa Music in 2022, renaming it Grand Mesa Strings. As a composer and string orchestra teacher, Sarah developed a deep passion for creating and choosing music that her string students would love to practice and perform. She became very interested in how music publishing bridges the gap between composers and performers, and so starting Grand Mesa Strings was a dream fulfilled. She is thrilled to continue the legacy of Grand Mesa Music while bringing the string orchestra community the best music for student enjoyment and skill development, and paving a new path for the future of string music.

Sarah is a composer, conductor, and educator. She holds a Master of Music Education degree from Vander Cook College of Music in Chicago and a Bachelor of Music Education from St. Olaf College. Her published compositions for choir and orchestra have been performed widely and she actively receives commissions for both choral and instrumental ensembles.
