Written in a neo-Romantic style, this Grade 3 string work is legato throughout. In the key of G minor and D minor, the melody line dovetails between parts, giving all players melodic interest. Beautiful harmonies, mostly in 3/4 time, some third position in violin one part, a few ritards and divisi double stops are all featured in this work.
