Originally written for handbell choir, this string orchestra setting uses dorian mode, very catchy melodies, and infectious asymmetric rhythms to create a compelling and memorable listening experience. Though they look tricky on paper, the mixed-meter rhythms have a natural feel and flow that your students should pick up on and be comfortable with almost immediately.
