Using melodic and harmonic material from two marches by G.F Handel, the arranger, Ron Wilcott, has created a stirring "classical" concert opener.

This fine arrangement has great musical integrity, yet is very playable for younger students as it stays in first position for all instruments except basses.

"A Festive March" could work very well as a processional or recessional for graduation or other formal ceremonies.
